DEAR News Of The Area,
LIKE many of us, our attention has been recently focused on America and this has raised our attention on its beliefs and culture.
I am worrying over the development of legal processes that have been developed by religious groups that are also trying to maintain a financial foothold in various countries including Australia.
We should as a community be able to criticise a foreign government’s decisions without being labelled ‘anti’ or …’phobia’.
We all feel for various world communities that have been invaded by another country, shame the same outrage was not expressed years ago by those who invaded our island nation and surrounds.
Returning to my worry, there are groups of American legal eagles that fly under the banner of Alliance Defending Freedom that have made an impact on various legal cases and will in no doubt be imported to our states.
