SATURDAY game was the Monthly Medal for our 27 starters, with some great scores from the top 3 players over the field: Angela Clipperton on 71, Tanya Sinclair 73 and Ann Syme 74. With the Club Championships being played later this month, we can expect to see more close finishes like this at the top of the leaderboard!

An excellent field of 40 ladies took advantage of a perfect Tuesday, vying for the August Monthly Medal. And what a close contest it was! Maxine Mitchell had a convincing win to take the overall honours, but B Grade was an exciting 3 way arm wrestle, and there was only one shot separating the  C Grade winners – great golf, ladies!

Thursday was another chilly morning for the 41 Lady Vets playing the 9 hole event on Jeans for Genes Day. Good scores were carded by Sue Brownrigg and Tanya Sinclair, both finishing the front 9 with 35 nett, and Marg Bonney on 36. Other individual highlights included Janet Merryweather’s chip in on the 15^th, and Tina Taylor’s NTP on the 3^rd – well played, ladies!
