SEPTEMBERS Monthly Mug was played on Wed 30th September and Meg South was the winner with 70n from Colleen Richards with 74n. Meg also won the 17th jackpot.
28 visitors from Tallwoods joined the vets on Thursday 1st October and the winner was Jeff Crockett with 43pts from Ray Mansell with 37pts on a c/b from Peter Stephenson (T/W). NTPs were Mike (T/W), Stewart, Bob, Rod, Peter (T/W) and Ray with a birdie. Tony Burns (T/W) got the Jackpot and long drivers were Mike (T/W) and Dave. After a random 10 cards selection, Bulahdelah won the day with 304 from Tallwoods 301.
Saturday 3rd October was the annual Spring Cup. A grade winner was Geoff Matheson with 30pts from Jeff Graham with 36pts on a c/b from Marty Bramble. B grade winner was Ken Hughes with 40pts from Kevin Martin with 38pts. C grade and Cup winner was Steve Fitzgerald with 40pts from Heta Pierson with 38pts. Bob Denelzen won the Jackpot, NTP and long drive. Other winners were Marty, Allan Benson (x2), B.Lewis, Barbie, Geoff and Bernie.
Sunday 4th October was the Trent Styles Memorial Day. Golfers enjoyed a 3-person Ambrose and the Matheson boys (Geoff, Charlie & Blake) were the best with 25.75n. Next were Geoff Harvey, John & Terry Stellema with 25.8n and 3rd were B.Keaton, J.King & T.Lamborn with 26. R.King, J.King & J.Durant were next with 26.25n, and then came W.Pollard, J.Crockett & B.Jeskie with 26.5. NTPs were Alan, Brad, Luke, John, Sam & Terri.
