MYALL River Hawks Junior Rugby League wrapped up their 2026 season on Saturday with home games.
The 15’s progressed to the semi-finals with a draw against an undefeated Singleton outfit and will progress to the finals, which will be held this Saturday at Scone.
The Hawks have been able to compete in five age divisions in 2026, fielding teams in 6s, 8s, 11s, 14s girls tackle, and 15s.
Recognised input from Committee members, sponsors, and team staff is a vital part of this achievement.
A special thanks to the raffle supporters at the Hawks Nest Golf Club, and Tea Gardens Country Club should also be mentioned.
Saturday’s games featured six players earning recognition for competing in 50 games in the Hunter Junior Rugby League competition.
Jaiver Murphy, Kade O’Neil, and Liam Mitchell have competed for the Hawks in all games, while Maria and Alex Saunders, and Kyziah Simms, have played for the Hawks for most of their careers.
All players have a family connection to the Junior and Senior Hawks.
Myall River will finish the 2026 season with a Presentation Day at Myall Park on 17 October.
