LEGENDARY singer-songwriter Leo Sayer surprised staff and diners at Mumm’s on the Myall when he stopped by the popular Tea Gardens restaurant on Saturday 30 May.

The visit created plenty of excitement among patrons and staff, with the internationally acclaimed performer taking time to enjoy the local hospitality during his stay in the area.

Known for chart-topping hits including You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, When I Need You and More Than I Can Say, Sayer has enjoyed a career spanning more than five decades and remains one of the most recognisable names in popular music.

The team at Mumm’s on the Myall shared their excitement on social media following the visit.

“We had a very special guest visit us today,” the restaurant posted.

“The legendary singer-songwriter Leo Sayer stopped by Mumm’s, and needless to say, there were a few excited faces around the restaurant.”

The post also highlighted the reaction of staff member Alain, whose broad smile reflected the enthusiasm felt throughout the venue.
