LAST Wednesday afternoon we had the opening game of our 2026 Twilight Season with an all-woman roll up, the first time ever. Karen rang her husband Craig and he dropped in to make the team player count even and off we went into a game that turned out to be a lot of fun, high scoring but an even match with many highlights. One of which was Chris landing not one but two goals, her first time to hit the nets. What a great start to the 2026 season, well done Chris.
The afternoon weather turned out to be quite warm but the large pines gave us some friendly shade to play in, but still, cold water and a rest was needed at the half time break before hitting the pitch again for the second of our two 12 minute halves.
