
AFTER a busy Christmas and New Year season, the golfers were back on the course on Saturday 3 January for the Medley Stableford.
Forty-six players contested the event in 3 grades.
A grade (0-14) winner was Wayne Pollard with 41pts from Paul Smithson with 37pts.
B grade (15-21) winner was Glenn Grainger with 37pts from Zac Watt with 35pts.
C grade (22+) winner was C.Jayce with 38pts from Kevin Styles with 37pts.
NTPs were Paul S, Ken H, Steve F, Josh S, Stewy Mc.
Long drivers were Josh S, Stewy Mc, Rod N and Bernie N. Toby Carroll won the 17th jackpot.
The Vets played a social stableford on Thursday 8 January, sponsored by Ken H and Michael D.
Mick Welsh was the best with 37pts from Peter Billinghurst with 36pts on a c/b from Marty Bramble.
Terry Crowther made sure no-one could beat his NTP with a hole-in-one on the 17th.
Saturday 10 January was a VERY hot day but that didn’t deter 27 keen golfers.
Murray Sharp won the day with 40pts from Rod Norberry with 36pts and Brad Gleeson with 35pts.
Brad also won the jackpot.
Ladies’ winner was Terry Stellema with 38pts from Alison Benson with 31pts.
Long drivers were Arrin G, Paul C, Darren C and Barbie G.
Competition golf continues in January on Thursdays and Saturdays with an Australia Day 4BBB event on Monday 26 January.
